Settlers of Catan
Brendan's funny joke!!!!
The other night Brendan learned how to BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs. I made cookies for desert. So Brendan thought it would be funny to exchange a cookie for a hamburger to see if I would notice it. It was hilarious and just what I needed to do and that is laugh. Cute one Brendan. I am so grateful to him and his great sense of humor.

Happy New year
Well this is more of a journal entry....I have managed to lose my camera again so I really do not have pictures to post. I am glad that my head is actually attached to my body or I would lose that also.
I am so excited for the 2009 year. Despite the fact that there are alot of trials and challenges ahead of me I have more hope than I have had in a long time. I have taken to heart President Monson's talk about finding joy in the journey. He challenged us in many ways to find the joy in our life. The one thing that stuck out in my mind is building good memories today. That is going to my biggest goal is to find moments each day build good memories for tommorrow.
New Year's Eve was a great day for our family. We started out by going to Hmong New Year with some members of the ward. It was so cold. Chuck has never been so he just enjoyed walking around and looking at things. Chuck, Scott, Brendan and I went to eat dinner with the Zambranas, Gwen Hawkins and Christine Lor. It was fun going to Marie Calendars before some of them went to the Neil Diamond concert. We ended our evening with a couple of Beehives from our ward hanging out while their sisters were at the dance. We played Dance Dance Revolution all night. Finally at 12:30 Brendan's friends came over to have out after the dance. I was so exhausted but managed to stay up until 1:30 an d then crashed.
I love being around people and sharing life with them. I have a lot of faith and hope that 2009 is going to be a year with good experiences. We have been blessed with great friends to help provide us with the best year ever.
