Family Beach Trip

Our family took a trip to the coast just for the day. We went to a fun hot dog stand that Katie Dill showed us last month. The owner of the place took this picture.

This was the hot dogs we ate. They were good because it was on the coast and everything tastes better when eaten on the beach. Our family has gotten addicted to vitamin water also and have way too many this summer.

This is at Morro rock...we just walked along the beach and collected sea shells. It was little bit too cold for me to go into the water.

Scott did not come because he does not like the beach. He had homework and stayed at home.

My computer is back!!!

I have my computer up again. It is a pain because it has to be reconfigured and it is totally different. It is going to take me forever to get it the way I had it before. I am just glad that it is working.

Brendan loves Panda Express. We were bored, hungry and wanted to go and eat. So we went and had a great time eating some yummy food.

Egg Rolls

Egg Rolls Anglo Style!!!!

Shanna Nef wanted to learn to make egg rolls. So we all made them today. It seems wierd making only 75 egg rolls when I am used to making 4 thousand egg rolls with our ward. It is always fun to make egg rolls with people. I am never sure how the recipe will turn out because I do not measure it is always how I feel at the time in making them.

Hmong Dancers at Conference

Here is a picture of the kids performing their dance on the stage. They all looked so amazing and their dance was incredible. It was great to see them after so many hours of practice.

This is the picture of the most amazing group of kids in the world. They all did so well and even after all their hard work they still have big smiles on their faces.

Getting ready for Hmong Conference!!!!

The kids worked really hard at practicing their dances for the Hmong Conference. Here is Felicia and her partner Tou Sue. The practiced every Tuesday and Saturday for several weeks. There was lot of hard work and time spent to make it look really good.

Here is Brendan and Susan dancing. They all looked so good and I am so proud of them all. The learned two dances. These are the best youth and are so willing to work, serve and help. Our family has been greatly blessed to be here with them and learning so much from them. We have really grown to love and appreciate them.

Fun Summer Pool Time

This is just pool fun.....I really enjoyed our pool because it is an easy and available form of entertainment.

Summer sleeping arrangements

This summer Brendan and Felicia have felt it was too hot to sleep upstairs in their bedroom. So all summer long they have slept downstairs in the living room. The dogs have joined them also. It has been fun seeing how much Brendan and Felicia have gotten along and have become such good friends.

I found this really amazing quote in a talk by Boyd K Packer. I just felt it was an amazing quote that really helped me. Our lives get so hetic that we forget to be quiet and still enough to listen to the Lord. I put pictures of the Hawaii Temple because I have found going to the Temple is my best way to leave the outside world outside and really focus of the most important things of the world and that is the gospel and my relationship with Heavenly Father.
